While it is true that the employee at fault will be dealt with and terminated, MS as a corporation is still liable for any charges that may result. We learned in Corporate Law that any employee of a corporation is an agent of that corporation, meaning that the actions they perform while employed by a corporation are not considered to be "their own" actions, but rather are considered to be actions by the corporation as a whole. Hence, anything that a lone MS employee does (right or wrong) is considered to be an action by the corporation as a whole.
This is why corporations are so anal retentive when it comes to their employees, btw
